Spindlewood lodges are a group of 7 self catering log cabin holiday lodges situated in the heart of Somerset near Glastonbury & Wells. Surrounded by 10 acres of open countryside, Spindlewood Lodges offers the self catering holiday maker the ideal surroundings to relax and unwind, with unparalleled views of Glastonbury Tor. Many visitors staying at our log cabins are also lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the wildlife which surrounds the holiday lodges. Badgers, deer, owls, kestrels, buzzards and woodpeckers are often seen by visitors during their stay.
Your log cabin holiday accommodation is a traditional Scandinavian log cabin, which is warm and comfortably furnished making it a joy to be in either during the summer or winter months. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything you require for your self-catering log cabin holiday. Each lodge has a sheltered verandah as well as its own picnic area complete with table.
The grounds of the holiday lodges also offer children a large and safe area in which they can play ball games etc., whilst parents can relax on the verandah of the lodges with a glass of wine!
Spindlewood Lodges are ideally situated for visiting many of Somerset's main attractions. There are many local attractions within 40 minutes' drive of the lodges. Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat, Bath & Bristol all offer great days out for our log cabin guests.
Local pubs and restaurants are all within easy range of the holiday lodges, offering a diverse range of foods to suit every budget and type of visitor looking for the perfect self catering holiday.
